The Fourth Crusade

The Fourth Crusade was one of 9 horrific crusades. The fourth crusade last from about 1198-1204 CE. Pope Innocent III declared the 4th crusade on the muslims because he did not accept the agreement from Richard the LionHeart and Saladin in the 3rd crusade. Everything in Pope Innocent III's plan went all wrong. The christians were supposed to attack the muslims; instead they attacked themselves. The christians were supposed to take down any muslim city they passed by; instead they burned down their own.
